Early Childhood Mental Health Program
(Ages 0-5)
Parenting infants, toddlers, and young children is rewarding, but it can also be demanding. If you are struggling with frequent tantrums, sleep issues, hitting or potty-training hurdles, you don't have to do it alone. We provide a strengths-based, individualized approach to help you understand your child’s behavior and build a secure, joyful relationship.
We offer a variety of ways to support your family’s unique needs:
Individualized Therapy: A tailored approach with a mix of child-parent sessions, play therapy, and parent-only support.
Specialized Approaches: Our clinician specializes in child-parent psychotherapy (CPP), Collaborative Problem Solving, Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), and trauma-informed care.
Circle of Security ™ Parenting Group (COSP): COSP is an evidence-based parenting program designed to support parents & caregivers in understanding their child’s emotional & attachment needs.
8-week group
Upcoming Dates: TBD
If you would like to join the group and/or be alerted when dates for the next group are determined, please complete this interest form and we will let you know.
The individual first visit (intake) with the clinician needs to be scheduled at least a week in advance of the next group.
This is an online group on Zoom with our clinician Heather Klotz, LPC.
Cost: The individual intake and each week's group can be billed to your insurance. The out-of-pocket fee (if you don’t use insurance) is $100 per session. If you pay at the time of the group this can be reduced by 15%.
Video introduction to COSP
During your first visit (intake), you and your clinician will decide on the best combination of support (group, family, and/or individual sessions) to help your child thrive. You will also work with your clinician on what approaches to treatment will be most effective.
