I have practiced as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner since 2014 in outpatient, community mental health, residential, inpatient, and partial hospital/intensive outpatient settings. I provide psychiatric evaluation, therapy, consultation and ongoing mental health care for adults, adolescents, and children. Treatment plans may include behavioral or lifestyle recommendations, medication, and/or psychotherapy.
My work in healthcare and mental health began in 2006, followed by a bachelor's in nursing and master's in psychiatric nursing across the lifespan with a focus in child and adolescent psychiatry from Oregon Health & Science University. My interest in psychopharmacology joins my passion and deep appreciation for therapy. I have a certificate in Interpersonal-Relational Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis, with additional intersectional and liberatory training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and training in Supportive and Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Collaborative Problem Solving®.

I strive to create an affirming and comfortable environment where openness and collaboration can develop. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, relationship and family difficulties, work-related stressors/burnout, ADHD, OCD, childhood trauma and post-trauma symptoms. Some areas of interest include interracial/intercultural and neurodiverse family systems, identity development, and work with individuals navigating sociopolitical stressors. I hope to understand unique needs, goals, challenges, formative life events and family systems with the aim of working together toward improved mental health, well-being, and functioning in the world.
