I am a graduate student in the Master of Social Work program at Portland State University, graduating in June 2026. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Portland State. I bring over 20 years of experience in early childhood development. I have served in diverse roles, including preschool teacher, parent support specialist (prenatal through age three), research assistant, and program coordinator for a home visiting program.
I am endorsed as an Early Childhood Family Reflective Supervisor through the Oregon Infant Mental Health Association (ORIMHA). My approach is strength-based, grounded in dignity and respect for every family, and informed by understanding cultural background, family knowledge, and child-rearing practices. I believe that early connections—bonding, attachment, attunement, and nurturing—are foundational to child well-being and optimal development.
